Bio

Sol Eugenio (born March 11, 1972) is a Filipino actor and choreographer, known for his work in independent and mainstream cinema. He has appeared in films such as 1521 and the upcoming Prisoner of War and has participated in various film festival projects in the Philippines. In addition to acting, he has worked extensively as a choreographer and has contributed to Philippine entertainment in multiple capacities. Sol Eugenio's return to acting was marked by his role in Almost Paradise (TV series), which he considers his comeback project. Despite being a background role, it reignited his passion for acting. Although the COVID-19 lockdown temporarily halted opportunities, the project motivated him to fully commit to the craft. Eugenio initially gained recognition in independent films, particularly for his performances in historical and action-driven narratives. He portrayed a Japanese soldier in Prisoner of War, an upcoming action-historical film. He also appeared in 1521, an international production featuring Michael Copon and Danny Trejo. His filmography includes various entries in local and international film festivals. He played the lead role of Teniente Gimo in the upcoming short film Elias, which is set to premiere in film festivals.
