Lana Parrilla is an American actress born on July 15, 1977, in Brooklyn, New York. She is best known for her role as Regina Mills/The Evil Queen in Once Upon a Time (2011–2018), which earned her several awards including a Teen Choice Award and an ALMA Award. Early in her career, she faced hardships including homelessness at age 19. She has also starred in Why Women Kill (2021) and the Netflix film Atlas (2024). Lana was married to Alfredo Di Blasio from 2014 to 2019 and launched an online clothing line, Keep It Regal, inspired by her Once Upon a Time character.
